Originally from Algeria, Dania Toumert holds a degree in Psychology from the University of M’MTO. She brings a diverse and well-rounded professional background, with experience in healthcare, education, and service environments in both Algeria and the United States.
Dania worked for over two years as a nurse at Algiers Hospital, where she developed strong skills in responsibility, attentive listening, and compassionate care. Driven by her passion for human relationships and child development, she later taught French and worked as a nanny in a private school in Tizi Ouzou, experiences that naturally led her to the field of early childhood education.
After moving to Berkeley, Dania also held leadership roles in the food service industry, including as a shift manager, where she demonstrated strong teamwork, organization, and leadership skills.
Dania is fluent in French, Arabic, and Berber, with a strong command of English and German. She is enthusiastic about working in a caring educational environment where she can share her languages, culture, and interpersonal skills. She is deeply motivated to support children’s growth in a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment, in alignment with ABS’s educational values.
