ABS West Campus

At ABS French Preschool, we provide a nurturing, safe, and stimulating French Immersion environment where children grow academically, socially, emotionally, physically, and creatively.

French Immersion Ages 2-6

Our curriculum is inspired by the French Éducation Nationale Preschool Program, thoughtfully blended with California early childhood best practices, Social-Emotional Learning (SEL), Positive Discipline, and hands-on enrichment.

French-Inspired Early Learning

Inspired by the official French National Education curriculum, we provide a nurturing environment that supports each child’s development through daily routines and play.

Social-Emotional Learning

Focuses on helping young children feel safe, understood, and connected, while they begin to understand themselves and others.

Individualized Support

Each child receives personalized care and guidance that respects their individual developmental needs, interests, and pace of growth.

Creative Activities

Exploring through art, crafts, music, dance, cooking, gardening, and gentle yoga, sparking curiosity and creativity every day.

Explore ABS West Campus

Each day begins with movement and sport, preparing the brain and body for focused academic learning, because at ABS, children learn best when they move, explore, and have fun.

Three of our classrooms are spacious, accommodating up to 15 students with 2-3 teachers, allowing for individualized attention and strong teacher-student relationships. The fourth classroom is slightly smaller, yet still provides ample space for exploration and play. This classroom also features a loft that enhances the construction and dramatic play areas, giving children additional room to thrive.

Outdoor Spaces

Our outdoor environment at the ABS West Campus is a spacious, nature-rich oasis thoughtfully designed to inspire exploration, movement, and hands-on learning. Surrounded by flowers and fruit trees, the playground offers children a warm and welcoming space that feels both peaceful and vibrant.

Playgrounds

Large sandbox, climbing structure, soft safety flooring, swings, slides, and a smaller climbing structure, as well as a bike and ride. Toy boxes filled with construction materials and a charming playhouse.

Safe and Nurturing Environment

Soft flooring, secure climbing areas, shaded play zones to protect children from hot days, and natural elements that encourage exploration.

Outdoor Eating & Shaded Play Area

A beautiful covered area surrounded by our chicken coop, gardening plots, fruit trees, and flowers.

Garden & Chicken Coop

The playground is surrounded by vegetable planters where children participate in gardening activities throughout the year. Alongside our fruit trees and chicken coop, children learn responsibility, empathy, and practical STEM skills through real-life experiences caring for plants and animals.

Indoor Spaces

Our classrooms at ABS West Campus are designed to provide large, bright, comfortable, and inspiring learning environments for children, supporting both structured and creative play.

Classrooms & Learning Areas

Our school provides a cozy space for group discussions, stories, and daily SEL routines, an activity area, a construction & dramatic play area, and a library.

Design & Atmosphere

Our classrooms are bright and welcoming, designed with natural lighting, soft tones, and comfortable rugs that create a calm and nurturing atmosphere. The environment promotes focus, independence, creativity, and positive social interaction.

Central Library

Each month, children explore a new theme introduced through French literature. From these stories, we develop interconnected activities including academic learning experiences, art and craft projects, sports and movement sessions, and cooking and gardening activities. Students borrow books weekly.
